[SOLVED] What cable should i use to achieve 144Hz?

My laptop has a mini display port. My monitor only has HDMI and Displayport. What cable should I buy to get the full 144hz? Currently, i'm using an HDMI cable, and am only able to achieve 100Hz.

You need an adaptor from mini display port to display port...

A mini display port to display port adapter should work (to use a displayport 1.2 cable), but if you're unable to go down that route, buy an hmdi 1.4 cable and you should be good.
