I just got done with a new computer build, am using an asus gtx 1070 graphics card that only seems to have a dvi connector. I am also using an asrock ab350 pro4 motherboard, which has an hdmi port.
My Samsung monitor only has vga and hdmi connection types. I cannot get any signal when I plug my monitor to my computers motherboard with the hdmi cable. The computer doesnt even have a vga out.
So what do I need to make this work? A hdmi to dvi cable? Will I lose any quality in doing this? And is a cable a cable or are there better ones to get?
If it helps, here is everything I am using for my build,
