What cables do I need to buy to match my color scheme?

This is my build:
http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ydQHjX

I am wondering what aftermarket cables I need to purchase. Sata? PSU? This is my first build so I really have no idea, I am kind of learning as I go!

Also, which LED strip should I get for inside my case? I would like the ability to change the colors. I'm adding this as an afterthought because it's the last thing I need to buy.

Thanks ahead of time for the advice!

generally as suggested above, people sleeve their own cables with loom and shrink tubing. frozencpu.com and xoxide.com should have some of that.

you can buy sata cables in various colors. while black and red commonly come with motherboards, blue, yellow, UV reactive and other colors are available.

some brand modular power supply cables can be bought presleeved as a kit. you would just replace the original cables with the presleeved kit. however the best jobs are always the ones where the user custom makes their own cables using diy plugs, wire and loom since they are the exact length needed and do not have extra plugs on the line which are not needed.
Yeah, I decided to really go all out. I'm switch from Mac to PC so I thought might as well go big! lol. Yeah, I see these builds that are very clean with their cable management and thats what I am wanting with sleeved cables. I just don't know what cables or cable extensions I am going to need to purchase since the majority of my parts have not been shipped yet.

I already purchased all of my parts, these are the last that I have not. I mean, what are the cables that come with a computer build? which are seen and which are not?

This guy's build is very similar to mine. All I see are PSU cables, GPU cables, and Sata? I'm not sure, like I said, I really don't know anything about this but I am doing my best at learning.

So what are all the cables that I'll be using in this build?

which get seen depends on

the case you use

and how much time you spend with cable management

and having a modular psu means you can only use the cables needed which helps

your psu is visible in that case so makes it harder to hide cables

in my case the psu is hidden at the rear and all the cables too so you only see a couple of inches of cable come out to connect to things

in that pc case--yes--as theres no way to hide them all with the psu placement

corsair cables should be sleeved in black or they might be flat cables i didnt look up your psu

cables you will be using:
sata, power, fan, front panel connector
generally you're talking the main 24pin power, 8pin eps, 1 sata power and 1 sata data for each drive, one fan cable for each fan, front audio cable, front controls cable, 1 or 2 pcie power cables for gpu (depending on what gpu). so about 8 cables + fan cables total in a typical case.

the linked build has individually sleeved cables as mentioned above. you can buy power supply kits like that though your color choices may be more limited. such as http://www.frozencpu.com/products/23774/psu-cab-106/Corsair_AX760_Premium_Single_Braid_Modular_Cables_Set_-_Customizable.html

if you wanted to do it yourself, you can typically buy the connectors used on your psu (some might be proprietary, some are more standard) and the end connectors, wire and loom and just make the cables yourself. as said before this gives the neatest look. presleeved kits can work as well but the cable lengths may not be exactly what you need so you might have too much slack (or worse, not enough).

if you bought the kit above then yes your cables would be red. top it off with red sata cables and the only thing you would have to do yourself is sleeve the fan wires and front panel device cables yourself.

basically sleeving your cables for psu https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92pRjXZ1EMk is not all the hard provided you're just careful to match the right cables up with the right pins. you can use the cable your psu came with as a guide. the nice thing about diy is that it allows you to only put the number of connectors you need on the cable (instead of how many comes stock) for a cleaner look, gives you greater choice over colors and allows you to pick the exact length you want. a premade kit however is quite a bit easier and less time consuming. your choice honestly

doing it yourself also lets you use interesting designs such as https://fbcdn-sphotos-b-a.akamaihd.net/hphotos-ak-ash3/861468_538975246124216_571477941_o.jpg

@ssddx
Thank you for the info. I'm definitely going to look into making my own. Firstly, I'd like to know all of the ins and outs of my computer. Secondly, I'd like to create my own color scheme with the cables, I think that'd be cool
