The permanently attached 4+4 goes to the motherboard for the CPU. Any 6+2 cables you have are for video card only.So I just upgraded my mb and cpu but now my mb requires a 8 + 4pin cable from my psu and I dont know what cables I need to use.
My psu has additional 8pin connectors for 6+2 pci e and 4+4cpu
Psu: corsair cx650m
cpu: intel core i7 10700k
mb: AsRock z490 extreme4
