I have a Seagate Hard drive a Barracuda 7200.11 and i wonder what cables would i need to get the data off it. I wish to connect it up to a laptop so i know i need a USB cable but the cable at the other end i'm not sure about. Can anybody help??
If you just want to recover data, you can use a simple cable like Lutfij mentioned, otherwise if it's going to be semi-permanent or connected for longer periods of time, I'd recommend something more stationary like this; https://www.dustin.dk/product/5010880766/usb-31-gen-2-10gbps-1-bay-dock-for-2535-sata-ssdhdd - and a container to put it in once you're done with moving data.
Is your HDD SATA driven or PATA driven? Can you pass on the model for your Seagate HDD? It's listed on the sticker atop the drive. This HDD kit should cover all the connectivity needs.
