So, i saw that the Gigabyte 980 Ti has 2 8-pin ports and i have a 100% modular PSU, so i choose the cables i want to install in the system.. I have cables which have 6pin+2pin and a different type of cable which has 6+2 and another 6 with no added 2 pins.. I already installed 1 6+2 pin cable and i'm powering up my current graphics card, so when the time comes for the 980ti do i just install another separate cable into the PSU? Below are some pictures of my cables and my PSU! :)

Either method will work. No it should not malfunction if you use a single cable with two 6+2 pcie plugs.
An EVGA G2 850W should have four 6+2 pin pcie power cables and two 6 pin pcie cables. You only need two 6+2 pin pcie power cables to power a Gigabyte GTX 980Ti. It does not matter if it comes from a single cable or two separate cables. Both 8 pin slots must be filled to use the gpu.

So i just plug in into the VGA 2 slot in my psu a single 6+2 pin cable and i will use the existing from VGA 1 and the new from VGA 2 to power each 8-pin port right? :) Because i thought that if a single psu port powers up 2 8-pin it can malfunction the card or something..
