What can and cant the deactivated version of windows 10 do

So I want the free version of windows 10, I am building a PC and Don't have the money for a license rn. So I was wondering what can I do with the deactivated version of windows and what I cant do

I have a long running test of a Win 10 Pro, installed in a VM, to test exactly this.

Installed on Dec 8 2016. 702 days.

1. Randomly appearing watermark at bottom right.
2. No personalization of the desktop or taskbar.

That's it.
It otherwise runs exactly as an Activated version. Gets all the regular updates, no performance changes...nada.
