What can casuse chockes and losses?

Hello, I have a Saphire Radeon9800pro on a GigaByte SIS747 motherboard with 256MB PC2100.
Besides my bad 8,000 score on 3dmark2001se I have losses and chockes on Counter Strike ( when i activate net_graph 3) when such chock or loss occures my frames drop from 99 to as low as 30. The card is completely good, it was tested on a different system and it scored over 15K on 3Dmark2001se.

So what could it be? I have all the latest drivers installed.
What causes lossess and chockes in cs ? 🙁((
maybe bad RAM?

Man, what card did you had before? A Nv one? If so google for a driver cleaner and use it! The clean up your system. Get rid of spyware and unwished programs. I think, loss and choke have to do with internet conection... What cpu do you have?

P4-2800->FSB800, Asus P4P800, 512DDR-400, Radeon 9800 Pro - 128Mb

if your gettin 8000 in 3dmark2001, you have MORE than enough to play CS


you probably need like 2000 points in 3kmark01 to play CS @ 1024x768
