Hello, two days ago I bought a memory ram: https://www.pcgarage.ro/memorii/patriot/signature-heatspreader-ddr4-4gb-2133mhz-cl15-12v/ and my memory was this: https://www.pcgarage.ro/memorii/goodram/4gb-ddr4-2133mhz-cl15-12v-1/
and I installed the new memory on the second slot that my motherboard said (I only have two slots) to the motherboard: https://www.asus.com/me-en/Motherboards/H110M-CS/

And I installed the memory, the PC started and it shows me in the task and at System as I have installed 8gb ram. Then I went on a game to test how it works, go the same way, with some drop-frames and when I entered the task the Fortnite game consumes as much memory as usual. I quit the PC and tried to change the memories between them, after I did, my PC was starting but it did not turn on the monitor, I had a black screen as if I had not started the PC. I tried each memory one at a time in the first slot that the motherboard's manual told me, and my old memory did not work but just the new one. I can not understand what happened or if the memory is still good and please help me.

i always do it when my pc is off but i am not unpluging the power cable neither switching the power supply off
Power goes to the board if you don't turn off the PSU.
You may have broke it.
When you turn off a computer, disconnect the power cord - before working on it again, you TRY and turn it on, which discharges the mainboard. You didn't do this, so you probably broke it.
Most memory has a life time warranty, maybe if you are lucky you can claim and get a new one.

Do you wear an anti ESD band ? If no then it’s possible ESD damage, though not very likely... have you checked the gold plates on the ram for any damage ?

Been reading through this and you have and old stick and a new stick. Did you buy a new stick to add in the other slot to increase your memory? If you did, that isn't a good idea. You may get by with it, but more often you won't to many things could be mismatched.

i dont have a warranty on my old ram because i got it with my pc (it cam in the pc already) the pc was already done
On the RAM that doesn't work will be a manufacturer and a serial number, go to that website and you will be able to see if it has a lifetime warranty. If so, claim for a new one. It shouldn't matter that its from a machine you bought ages ago if it has a lifetime warranty
