I have this ASRock 880GM-LE FX board and at present use it for streaming videos, (not live cam). It is fine mostly but occasionally drops frames or just freezes.
Would like to know if I can get better performance out of it for that purpose? The specs are here
https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/880GM-LE FX/index.asp

I have latest Win10x64 v2004 and NVidia GF 8400 GS with 2 monitors.
CPU is 3.30 GHz AMD FX 6100 Six Core
288 kb primary mem cache
6144 kb secondary mem cache
8192 kb tertiery mem cache
64 bit ready MultiCore (3 total)
Hyper threaded (6 total)

RAM 8GB- 4 usable

Thanks

Changing MB wouldn't help any but CPU might. FX 8320E for instance because of more cores and better than FX x100 series. Also uses less energy than...

Changing MB wouldn't help any but CPU might. FX 8320E for instance because of more cores and better than FX x100 series. Also uses less energy than non- E CPUs.
You also need to solve that problem with only half of memory usable.

Thanks CountMike, I will explore the CPU change, I thought this may be a way too, but not knowledgeable enough myself.
Any ideas how to address the Ram issue. It say that 4 is max usable !
