What can I do to make this hp computer to make it for gaming too

I think I might replace the gpu cause its crap with a gtx 1050 ti but idk can anyone give me suggestions with prices under $300 btw I live in canada

Don't know. You didn't list the psu or its wattage. If it's a 300w unit, anything more powerful than a 750ti (something needing 6pin pcie connectors) will almost probably need a new psu, although if it's a 325w - 400w unit, and has a single 6pin pcie, you'll be ok with a gtx1050ti or Rx460, but nothing bigger.

A lot depends on the psu, but the gtx1050 would be a huge jump in graphics over the GT705, which is honestly worse than the igpu on the cpu itself.
With the 1050 you won't get the intense graphics the larger cards have available, but you should be able to get good frames in medium to ultra settings in most games although some of the more intense AAA titles you'll be looking at maybe low.
