[SOLVED] What can I do to my Dell inspiron 531s I purchased to stream on?

I have a dell inspiron 531s I'm trying to use for live streaming I tried it just how it was but it is super laggy.
I'm looking for any advice on what to upgrade to stop the lagging. Is there anything I can do?

If you're using the OEM video, get a better video card of some kind.

Be sure you have enough RAM. 8GB is enough for a3GB GPU,6 GB for a 2GB card.
The fastest CPUs there wouldn't hurt anything either.

What are the current specs of your system? It is quite old to begin with, but depending on its current configuration it may still have a chance with some cheap upgrades.
