Asus K55N-DS81
AMD A8-4500M Processor (1.9GHz)
4 GB DDR3 RAM
500 GB 5400 rpm Hard Drive

Since this seems to be a laptop, you could buy more ram at a higher speed which will help with the apu's graphics if you do games. If you don't you could upgrade your hard drive to a ssd for faster speeds.

Yeah, for gaming. I don't do too much intensive gaming, just like TF2, Blacklight Retribution, possibly some skyrim when I get it. What type of ram should I get, and also for the harddrive, anything specific? If you could put a list of the components that I could use to improve my laptop, that would be great! By the way, there is 2 ram cards, it actually has 6 gigs, not 4.

Is it worth it to have 2 hard drives? I don't use my CD player, does it affect the overall performance? And I'll get that new ram, it should work with my AMD processor, correct? Thanks for all the answers! I'm kind of curious on how to make my laptop even better!

It will not affect performance however, a ssd is very expensive per GB so using one for your main programs and a hard drive for everything else is cost efficient.
