8 months ago I switched ISP provider and the new ISP one gave me a new modem.

The old ISP provider never asked me to return their modem so I'm wondering what could I do with it.

For what I heard is a pretty good modem. It's an Actiontec T3200M but instead of saying Actiontec on the outside it says "Telus T3200M".

How can I know if its "locked" to only work with Telus (old ISP). Is there any tests I can do to see if its a fully functional modem?

Could I get a good value if I try to sell it? On ebay they are been sold used between 150-190 usd.
Example Here

I will much appreciate any advice.

This is DSL modem, so it might work with other DSL providers, or might not.
Plug it in, connect to the modem with Ethernet cable. If you can go into management page, or you can after reset, it probably will work. You can also try to install Actiontec firmware on it.

Long long ago (1995?), when cable internet was brand new, I was an early adopter.
1 megabit down, from @Home which became Cox Cable

12 years later, after multiple speed increases and modem changes...I switched to Verizon.
Turning in my then current Cox cable modem, they still had the original Wave thing on my account.
