Question What can I do with my outdated Gigabyte Radeon R7 260X ?

Hello everyone,

I just checked with a technician about my "not working PC anymore", to summarize: Now I have a ddr3 memory (ripjaws x blue) and a Radeon R7 260x. What can I do with it?
I was thinking about getting an APU A10 9700 and pairing it with my current Radeon R7 260x, is that possible? Is there any better or more bang for bucks option?

The question that comes to mind is how you ended up those two parts...? Did the PSU cause the system's innards to die? If so, then those two might've also fallen victim to the PSU popping. If all you have now is the GPU and ram, you might as well list them on a site like Ebay, get what you can and then reinject the money to a concurrent APU(Ryzen 5 5600G or Ryzen 7 5700G) build. In the long run you'll notice that you spent the same as a new system only that you invested in older tech.

Where are you located and how much do you have to spend on your build?
