Hello! Tomorrow i'm selling one of my gaming motherboards but have no idea what to package it with to keep it safe.

I dont have any anti static wrap or original packaging (i have a few boxes laying around) but wanted to know what i could use to protect it, its not being shipped but id really hate to hand over the motherboard with nothing protecting it.

I was going to wrap it in bubble wrap but heard that it's not a good idea to do so.

Sorry if this is a bit confusing to read...

Thank you!

I would much rather receive a board in a flatrate box stuffed with newspaper. It has the added advantage of not draining the CMOS battery like real antistatic (ie electrically conductive) plastics can.

Even if you buy the proper antistatic bag, how will the buyer know it's the real stuff unless it's the silver metalized kind? For all they know you could've just bought pink trashcan liners. Don't make them worry and just use paper.

I've just heard that it's possible for it to shock it that way, what if i purchased anti static bubble wrap from my local staples.. would that work?

Thank you!
