What can I upgrade (ideally for the best bang for the buck) to play Warcraft: Legion on Ultra?

Hey guys, I have a somewhat dated machine (built in early 2012), but I'd like to maximize it for world of warcraft: legion rather than rebuild at this point in time. I'm wondering if you'll be able to help me out with it!

the 'recommended' hardware requirements for WoW: Legion:

Processor
Intel® Core™ i5-3330, AMD™ FX-6300, or better
GPU
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 750 Ti or AMD™ Radeon™ R7 260X or better
Memory
4 GB RAM

My system is as follows:
Processor: Intel Core i7-2600K (sandy bridge) 3.4GHz Quad Core
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 580 Twin Frozr II/OC 1538MB 3840Bit GDDR5 PCI-E
Memory: 2x4GB 240-Pin DDR3 1600 (PS3 12800) SDRAM
Motherboard: ASUS P8Z680V Pro/Gen3 LGA1155
PSU: Antec High Current Gamer Series HCG-900 900W
HDD: Crucial M4 2.5" 128GB SATA III MLC Internal SSD + a 2TB HDD for storage

How do these parts hold up today? I figure the PSU is pretty decent still? Anyway, I know the GPU definitely needs to be upgraded. I don't have a set budget but I'd like to get the best bang for my buck at the moment. Ideally I'd like to play on Ultra settings as smoothly as I can, but without doing a complete overhaul.

Appreciate your expertise!!

Solution
since yu have nvidia already: GTX 1060/1070/1080 depending how much you want to spend. 1060 is due out next week.

you might also consider a larger SSD
thanks guys. Will I be bottlenecked because of my system if I go for a RX480 or a 1070? I'm leaning more towards the RX480 because of the price point. It sounds like it'd be better bang for the buck than a 960 or a 970 even correct?

Probably would have been good if you mentioned that. Cause it looked like you meant the 480 was older architecture.
