what can i upgrade on my gaming rig and the things that i picked are they good?

i have a custom build as of right no i have a evga 550 ti (going to upgrade to 980 ti)
msi gaming 970 motherboard
G.skill ripjaws 2x4gb @ 1600 (oc at 1800) looking at getting the G.skill ripjaws X 4X8gb at 2133
amd phenom II 1090t x6 3.2 (oc to 3.6)
950w power supply
cooler master haf xb evo case
hyper evo 212 cpu cooler

my question though is is there anything else that i can upgrade? and are they good things i picked this is my first build.

If you are going to GTX 980Ti, would be a waste.
Since your CPU is not that GOOD. Phenom 2.
It will bottleneck

If you want to change to intel, you need to buy another motherboard.

Ok if I go to Intel would the z97 be a great mobo I really like msi and there gaming line and if I did do that what cpu would be good I don't want to spend over 350 on the cpu and thank you for your help
