i want too upgrade my pc, i have an i5-2400 gt 1030 8gb ram my mother board is a 0M5DCD
system model is a OptiPlex 390 not small form factor

what can i upgrade my gpu or cpu too that will work on my system that is cheap? or no to expensive

The I5-2400 will work on your system. From the Optiplex 390 tech guide, they shipped models with the I5-2400:
