Like the topic name suggests, what can you overclock, obviously ones
cpu
graphics card
ram

can you overclock the motherboard e,g, noth bridge.

By increasing the FRONT SIDE BUS (FSB), which has to do with the motherboard, and is required for overclocking the CPU, you ARE overclocking the motherboard. That's why most experienced overclockers seek better northbridge cooling than just stock cooling.

As a matter of fact, the motherboard is typically the most stressed component that IS overclocked.
