What card to get

Ok,
I'm new to all this and need some help. I need a prebuilt that I use for Auto Cad/ Photo Shop and Sketchup.
On prebuilts .... for around $1,000 I can get either the AMD PhenomII Six core / 8 GB Memory? 1 TB HHD The card that come with them are HD 5450 /5750 /6670 I can also get a i7 same Memory etc: with a GTX 530.
So what card do I go with, or what prebuilt would you recommend?

GTX 530? wuttt? do you mean GT 530. or is it GTX 580?. well if its a 580 you will be ok for what your gonna do. You don't need anything pro. But that I7 will last you alot longer than the Phenom six core

Ok the it's the GT530 seems like I need a HD 6970. theres so much out there and I don't want to make a mistake.

The i7 would be better but you'd probably want to replace the gpu.

The 6 core with the 6670 is decent.

Your the second person that said go with the i7 why... also if I look for the i7 which seem to come mostly with the GT or GTX, and I get .... 8 GB Memory...1TB...HDD

well the i7 cpu is more powerful

its fine if it comes with a gt as long as its more powerful than the 530.

Something with 440 or higher would be good.

i'm the third person to recommend to go with i7 they have too strong power as compared to AMD 8 cores even..

yes, but many people make thier custom built cause they are cheaper and better.

Time I add software and give a friend a couple bucks to help me I'd be about 1300 for the same machine.

you can save a lot of money getting a gts 450 and maybe a cheaper case. you don't need a gpu that powerful if you don't game
