What card to run triple 1080p monitors while gaming?

I am looking to get a cheap 1080p 23" monitor to accompany my two current monitors, and would really like to play GTA/Minecraft/other various games with the game spanning across all three monitors, one in the middle, and two around the sides for peripheral vision. Which of these graphics cards would be the minimum needed to run GTA at least at medium to high settings and get 50 to 60 FPS on three monitors?

MSI R9 290 4GB Reference
Asus R9 280x 3GB
Sapphire R9 270x 2GB Dual-x

I currently own the MSI, but am thinking of selling it because of how hot it can get (heats up the room a lot), I am getting the 280x for trading an SSD with a friend, and I also currently own the Sapphire.

Please let me know if any issues would arise with any of the cards in hooking all three monitors up, and what I would have to do, in terms of ports. Also, should I just sell all three and get a 970 or 980? Thanks

pretty sure that there is no card ( less than 1000$ ) that can run 3 monitors with games on high , however you can get around 40-50 FPS on medium with the MSI R9 290 4GB , but if you wanted to play on high with 3 monitors with 60+FPS, i would get 2 gpus

I use a 970 to game across 3 60hz 1080p monitors and I can get 60 fps in rainbox six siege on medium setting, and in older games like portal I can get around 100-200 fps across all three screens on high setting.

I got this one (http://www.gigabyte.us/products/product-page.aspx?pid=5559#ov) because it was on sale. However the difference between precise models has to do with quality, seeing as how they use the same speed parts (with slight variance in clock speed). Do you plan on doing any overclocking?

I'm looking to buy a card with at least 2 fans. I've learned my lesson with AMD's 290 reference design, it gets HOT.

980 ti runs 1080P surround on ultra most games at around 60fps...It will run gtav with close to ultra at close to 60 fps, you would have to turn down some AA though and maybe some draw distance, stuff like that but it for sure runs 1080P surround very well.

I run 1440P surround on 3 4K monitors with one 980 ti and ultra with nothing turned down, gets around 35-40 fps on pretty much every game, then I turn a few things down to get around 50fps for single player games.

2 crossfire 280x, I believe will be around the same performance as a 980ti, I would go that route instead of one 970 right now and wait till these new cards come out in 6 months.

I looked it up, and two 280x's would require a PSU of at least 900W... My current one is only 550.
