What card would be best for me?!?

Alright I have an FX-8150 (shitty I know) I have $400 to spend on a new card, and here's the question! Should I get a 670 or a 7970? Whick would work best with my cpu?



Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

My Budget is around $400 like said above^ and I play just about everything. BF3, cod, crysis, dayz, etc... the list goes on

I would grab a 7970

Do you want phsyx or CUDA, any specific games, what resolution, SLI/CFX, PSU?

Uhm, I do play borderlands 2 and thats pretty physx heavy i think, I'll be mostly playing games like BF3, Crysis 2 & 3 and Far Cry 3. I play at 1920 by 1080 and i use a Rosewill 850w psu

If you want phsyX then just grab the 670
There are reference models at about $340 and ones with customs coolers around $365-370

I dont care that much about physx so should I just go with a 7970?

if phsyX and CUDA are not important to you then the 7970 is a great buy (AMD is slow with drivers sometimes though, 1-2mths after game launch, you will get subpar [about 1 tier down perf])
