What Card???

I'm buying a new computer (AMD 1400 MHz, 256 meg DDR memory) and was wondering what graphics card to get. I want it to perform really well with games as well as basic DV editing. I've been told that GForce 2 cards are only good for gaming and that I should go with a Radeon. In addition, they aid that the GForce cards didn't have many codecs built into them. I'm lost. Also, is the GForce 3 suitable for my purposes. What card does everything well basically. Help!!

I would get the radeon64. Or the Geforce3. Although i think the radeon would be a better choice. You'd be happy with either one.

with you kinda of system hey buy a kyro 2...

you will get with kyro 2 the same performance as with geforce 2 ultra .
save your money for your next upgrade...
(radeon 2 ,kyro 3 or geforce 3 ultra ???)

yeah, but if u buy a kyro 2, any new t&l game will get bogged down. For that reason, you would have to get a new video card in 6 monthes
