What cards will gain benefit from directx 12

I am between 2 low budget cards
1> gt 740
2> radeon r7 250

I would like to know which card will gain a bigger benefit from directX 12
ps: do NOT suggest me other cards
ex:
Go at least for r7 260x or gtx 750

Both will benefit to some extent. No one knows how much , not even Nvidia or AMD until games developed with dx12 are launched and tested. But my bets are more on AMD since they support their hardware for a longer period. But Nvidia will optimize better in terms of VRAM consumption when they do .

Don't worry i just need the card for skyrim so i dont need a high-end card and probably for the witcher 3 but as far as i know they can run i at lower settings or low res

If you really like witcher 3 , then go for Nvidia . Witcher and nfs works better on nvidia , while fps games like crysis and bf4 work better on amd.

I personally believe the GT 740 SC 4gb card is fantastic. I am running that card gaming everyday.
