yesterday i experienced a huge slow down on my pc, i went for a reboot but it didnt booted to windowns, instead it showed me error message c:/windows is corrupted, tried to format and install a new window copy but the problem is that formatting took 20 min to finish, when it usually take less than 1min, after formatting it took windows installation 30 min to reach 1%, then i realized that there is something wrong with my hdd, i thought its dead, tried many solutions, couldn't manage to make chkdsk to work, i was about to give up, but thanks god i though about using another sata port on my motherboard, and iam glad that it worked, everything is normal now. the question now .. why this is happend to the previous sata port??? and how to prevent this to happen to other ports, i have 6 ports on my motherboard, can i fix this slow sata port that looks close to dying???
