What chipsets that support overclocking?

Please can someone give me a list of chipset (intel) that supports overclocking?

The current intel chips that support overclock are the x99(2011-3 socket) and the z170(1151 socket)

The four most recent are Z170, Z97, X99 and Z87.

Is z170 the best overclocking chipset currently? Also i am torn between asus viii formula and viii extreme (both z170) which is better?

Τhey are 2 total different sockets,x99 is the extreme platform and it has 6cores+ cpu's and the z170 is the high end mainstream platform and supports overclock on 4core and 4core8thread cpu's.

So its just what you intend to do with your pc.If you want to render videos and run virtual machines also anything that demands many threads x99 is the best option.In contrary z170 with cpu's such as 6600k and 7600k is much cheaper and better for gaming.

Im much into gaming with casual video converting. Also i use a lot of programs such as autocad, inventor and sketch-up. I guess z170 is the one for me right?
