[SOLVED] What components do I need for 4k Gaming at 60 FPS ?

Hi,

I'm currently using the following components :-

Zotac nVidia Geforce GTX 1060 Mini 6 GB
i5 8400 2.8 GHz
Corsair Vengeance DDR4 16 GB RAM (8 GB x 2)
Corsair VS650 Power Supply
LG IPS Display FHD

What items do I need to change and to which one for getting 4k 60 fps gameplay on bf5, gta 5, rdr2 pc etc ?

I think it's hard to get 4k 60 fps on ultra settings. I think you would need to change everything lol

That's 2080 Super/2080Ti territory.
A 2070 Super could do it, but you'd have to lower the eye candy.
Also, the power supply would need to be changed.

9700k or 3700x with a 2080ti

For CPU an 8700k/9700k or Ryzen 3700x/3800x would do if you dont care about prices i9 9900k or Ryzen 3900x.
for Power supply EVGA G2/G3, Corsair RM, Seasonic Focus plus gold 650-850w depends on your budget but i personally like to have some headroom for efficiency and for overclocking.
For GPU, at least RTX 2070 super (with some details at medium or mixed to your liking)
RTX 2080 super for medium-high and RTX 2080 Ti for everything at High mixed with ultra or something.
for Ram you really dont need to change that.
for motherboard Z390 would do you good just dont chose the cheapest models from any manufacturer, i suggest a 200+USD mobo.

for monitor Asus ROG swift or Acer predator seems to be the good choices.

Cpu:
Cpu options are a LOT more flexible at this resolution. There's no 'must have' here, since the gpu's going to be doing most of the work.
But at the minimum, I'd say Ryzen 2600 on Team Red, and your current cpu on Team Blue.

Ram:
A 2x 8GB kit is still the sweet spot.

Monitor:

I will add, that you'd want one with either G-sync, or FreeSync 2(the ones that work with Nvidia cards).
