[SOLVED] What components does i350bb-pci-6100 temperature points to?

When I use sensor to check temperature on my ubuntu box, I noticed that the reading for i350bb-pci-6100 keeps growing.

i350bb-pci-6100
Adapter: PCI adapter
loc1: +68.0°C (high = +120.0°C, crit = +110.0°C)

Which part on motherboard does this reading points to? What is a normal temp range should I expect to see in this item?

Cool~~ I just googled around and do see following comments:

- the i350bb-pci-0500 is the thermal sensor of the Intel Lan Chip and yes it is that hot.

So far its temperature holds at 70C (From 45C initially) and hope it stays there~~~~~

The obvious suggestion is to open the case and see if it makes a difference. This would be the same suggestion for CPU heating. You could have insufficient airflow.

If you google that device, your values are very common.
I am guessing that the i350 is an Intel ethernet adapter. Knowing what motherboard you have would help.

It's a little surprise for me if it actually points to the network card~~~ So does a 70C a normal working temperature for a NIC card? Or if its overheating what is your suggestion for me to deal with it?

It seems consistent with other posts if you google i350bb.
