Last night I posted a threat about what motherboard should I buy but it ended in replacing almost everything this pc have. I'm planing to construct an almost new one but first I need some help from you guys since I'm quite a noob on this stuff. I'm going to list the current components and please tell me what of them can be still used. I want a casual gamer (I don't care about high end graphics, just good a good definition) and an amateurish recording music pc.

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-VM900M (way too old so is out)
Processor: Intel Celerion 420 (out too)
No graphic card
PSU: COLORSit atx12v P4 500W (I want to know if this can be salvaged)
Case: COLORSit g8020c (not bad condition)
current RAM: 2GB (The motherboard only permits up to 4GB so this information is useless but I'm going to include it anyways)
HDD: Seagate 500GB

Any suggestions are really apreciated. Thanks.

the only thing really worth keeping is the HDD and maybe the case if it's a good case that'll fit your new build. Everything else is too old or bad. I would also only use the Seagate as a backup drive as it's a Seagate and 7 years is about when you should start expecting your drive to fail one day.
