Question What components to upgrade to improve performance in After Effects?

Hi! It's been a few years since I built my PC. Still does most everything I want flawlessly, but I haven't upgraded any of the parts since. I'm thinking I should go ahead to increase the life on this thing. While I don't notice anything in terms of performance flaws; I am wondering if I can speed up any work I do in Adobe After Effects. If I do any motion tracking or Rotobrush background removal, etc, I have to wait a while for AE to process from one frame to the next. This is probably normal, but is there a spec I can upgrade on my PC to speed that up noticeably?

I don't know if you need my specs but here's what I have; let me know if any crucial info is missing from this:

I ran a test on https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/ and here's the results it gave me. I'm not sure what to do with these results, though:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1700 - 67.1%
GPU: AMD RX 470 - 38.5%
SSD: Mushkin MKNSSDTR250GB 250GB - 72.7%
HDD: Hitachi HUS724030ALE641 3TB - 66.5%
RAM: G.SKILL F4-2400C DDR4 2x8GB - 75.2%
MBD: Asus PRIME B350M-A

I'd get more(a higher capacity) ram kit but rated at DDR4-3200MHz dual channel ram kit, get a larger more faster SSD to replace the one you already have. Anything that is rated for PCIe 3.0 x4, like the Samsung 970 Evo Plus...but something at least 500GB or 1TB. You could have the Mushkin SSD as a cache/storage drive where your work files reside. You're also pending OS update considering we're on 21H2 for Windows 10. What BIOS version are you currently on? Make and model of your PSU and it's age?

Ryzen 7 3700X also wouldn't hurt, 3800X if you upgrade the cooling.

The PSU is the power supply, right? It's a Seasonic SSR-550RT S12G-550 From what I can see physically on the PSU.

My current RAM is DDR4. But is it not 3200MHz?

It looks longer, or at least more narrow than my current one. Unsure if I'll have issues fitting it into my case? Probably not, the desc says it's 3 inches-ish. With SATA III. This one you recommended says PCIe Gen 3.0 x4, NVMe 1.3 instead. I don't know if I have that as an option. How can I find out?

I need to upgrade the cooler? This one mentions a "Wraith Prism LED Cooler". Is that enough? Or would I need a better cooler still?

That is an adequate cooler. Being a 16 core CPU, it can get warmer under a heavy load so you might want to consider an aftermarket cooler. But you can certainly try it out first.
