Hey, want to go from an ATX case to something smaller (as this pc is slowly dying) and I want to carry across some things to save money.

Things I want to carry over:
i5 760 (LGA 1156)
4x2gb basic ddr3 ram
2.5" ssd
3.5" hdd
GTX 650 Ti which I'm upgrading, maybe you guys can give suggestions on what will fit and the best upgrade for cost (Atm looking at a mini gtx950)
Basic optical drive
I also have a standard ATX 500w PSU which may or may not fit in smaller cases

Looking for a mobo/case combo that can have at least 1 usb 3.0 and audio jack on the front.
Trying to spend as little as possible :)
Thanks

What motherboard do you now have?
That will determine how small a case you can use.
If you need a new motherboard, it will be hard to find a lga1156 motherboard new; ebay may well have one.
If you use a M-ATX sized motherboard, Silverstone has some nice small M-ATX cases. PS07, TJ08E for example.

If you want to go smaller, look at the lian li PC-Q08
It needs a ITX motherboard

The above cases will hold full length graphics cards, ATX psu of decent size, and have a 5.25" front mount for a dvd as well as usb3.0 and audiojacks.

Why do you want to change to a smaller case and mobo? What I've seen is that EVERYONE regrets it (assuming you don't want to carry it around to LAN parties and such). If you won't move it, it will only make it hotter. Probably upgrading your CPU and GPU will be better.

Yeah was thinking of a new case and mobo, currently have P7H55-M SI which is on it's way out.

Or maybe I don't need a miniATX/microITX if I can find a small enough ATX case/mobo combo?

Will be transferring it to and from uni (and I Will need the space there)
