What computer components have to match?

Solution
That would work very nicely. However, we can do better, I think:
i5-4670K - saves $100 compare dto i7-4770k, very little difference in games
8 GB RAM - saves $90 - again, very little difference, if any
Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo - saves $70
EVGA SuperNova 1000W or Corsair HX1050 or XFX 1000W - this adds $70 but gives you option to add a second graphic card later
(you'll need it if you get a 4K monitor, or even one with 2560x1440p)

With a GTX 780 Ti, you can expect great performance.

The CPU and motherboard must match, i.e. socket LGA 1150 both, or socket LGA 1155 or AM3+ or whatever.

The GPU and PSU must match, i.e. the PSU must have the right amount of power and the right connectors.

The GPU and the PSU and the MB must match the case, i.e. must fit in it.

I can find more examples, but you get the idea....

CPU has to match motherboard socket type IE: AMD FX-8350 8-core CPU is AM3+ Socket. Also RAM(Memory) has to be supported by the motherboard other than that everything else is pretty much universal. Other than CPU cooler of course. What do you have questions regarding?

http://www.pcpartpicker.com/ has compatibility to know what all will match in your setup.

Why don't you tell us how much you can spend, what country you live in, and the purpose of the new computer. If it's for gaming, tell us your screen resolution and which games you like most. We'll help you put a good rig together, no worries :)

Okay. I already have a build I thought of. Just wanted to have some knowledge of what matches.

For 2 1080p monitors

Also, is the 780 ti good enough for 2 1080p monitors?
