What computer for gaming is good

I honestly don't know much if anything about computers, and I want to get one for mostly playing games and making YouTube videos. What would you all recommend? My friend said that it would be best to build it

nowadays you can get decent prebuilt pcs. what's your budget? i'll see if i can find something that's good value.
