[SOLVED] What configuration do you recommend for adding a 2nd SSD?

I started with a single 500GB drive for Windows 10 and everything else, and it is almost full. I have a 1TB drive to add to my system. What is the best way to install it? I have AOMEI backupper taking an "image" - I could potentially restore to the new drive to make it a clone of the old one and the new OS disk, correct? Otherwise I would just add it as an empty drive and maybe switch my downloads folder to that new one. Thoughts?

What make/model is the current drive?

If an SSD, leave the OS and applications where it is on the 500GB.
Add this 1TB as a secondary drive.

What you use the system for will dictate what goes on it.
