So I decided to upgrade my 2009 Acer Aspire 6930G with new RAM, CPU and Storage, and when I took the hard drive out, it had a connector I've never seen before. When I searched on Google, I got from this site( http://www.cnet.com/products/acer-aspire-6930-6809-16-core-2-duo-vista-home-premium-3-gb-ram-320-gb-hdd/specs/ )that it was a Serial ATA 150 connector. Here's a picture of my hard drive:http://postimg.org/image/okwb4d8yp/ http://postimg.org/image/3zhjcgrdt/
On the drive it says that it's a Hitachi HTS543232L9A300.
So the main question is what connector is that and is it possible to find a new drive using that connector.

Yout drive is a hitachi Travelstar. A 320GB 5400 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 2.5 inch hard drive. I would think any 2.5 inch sata drive would fit. Including a SSD. But I think your laptop is only a sata2 speed chipset.

Yep I see these all the time. You can pull the adaptor off and there is a normal SATA connector underneath.
