Hello, everyone!

"Maybe" in early 2019 I am making my PC, but I have an question.

What cooler should I get?

The:

ARCTIC AC Freezer 33 eSport Edition
or the
Scythe FUMA Rev.B ?

I am planning to use an 1600X and OC it an bit.

I will use the Thermaltake Versa H18 case, with 4 case fans.

(P.S: The 2600X is almost 100$ more than the 1600X here, bloody hell!)

An aio is basically the same performance in the same bracket as an air cooler. The Corsair H60 gets almost identical performance to the hyper212 evo. So as far as benefits go, it's purely an aesthetics or fitment choice, not a performance choice in any way. The only exception to this is the 280+mm AIO's which have a considerably higher capacity than the biggest air coolers, but that's only a consideration if your OC is pushing over 250w combined. Otherwise the NH-D15 is pretty much the same as any of the 280mm AIO's etc ± a few °C.

The Scythe Fuma Rev.b is an excellent cooler for its size, but it can have fitment issues with large socket heatsinks and tall ram as it sacrifices heatpipe tallness to achieve a shorter overall height.
Both coolers are in different performance bands(leagues) you may want to pass on a link of allt eh coolers you have access to. Better would be if we knew where you're located and how much you intend to spend on the cooling. It'd help us two fold if we knew of your proposed build like so:
CPU:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:

In case you have any clearance issues.

Here is my future build:

CPU: Ryzen 5 1600X

MoBo: ASRock B450M PRO4 (Cheaper than the MSI B350M BAZOOKA here lol)

RAM: Two Sticks of Crucial Ballistix Sport LT White 4GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16 1.2v RAM.

HDD/SSD: WD Blue 1TB/WD NEW Green 120GB SATA-III M.2 2280

GPU: Sapphire Radeon RX 580 NITRO+ 8GB GDDR5 256-bit

PSU: Seasonic M12II-620 EVO Edition Bronze 620W

Chassis: Thermaltake Versa H18

OS: Windows 10 64bit.

I know everyone goes all out on GPU, CPU ect ect but I always buy the biggest best water cooler I can get.

The cooler you keep the cpu the longer it should last.

Check out the new Corsair H115i gt or gtx bout $150 just keep the box and receipt incase the pump dies.

Why not? They work the best and a closed loop system is simple to install. I thought you wanted to OC. Well your choice.

For air I always get the cooler master hyper 212 EVO. Basically runs forever great contact, cheap and looks sweet. I've ran a Q6600 at 3.5 for a long time with no issues. Also ran my current I5 at 4.5 until someone talked me into buying a nice water cooler. Temps are 10 to 20 C lower than on air.

Dang that Artic AC looks sick, PCpartpicker.com says your good on clearance as well

Anyway the 212 went fit in your case anyway and the T4 sucks. I think your on the right track with the Artic.

Before you spend $40 to $50 give one last thought into water.

The H60 2018 would work well for your case and is extremely quiet.

Sadly, the H60 is sold out! D:<

Ive never kinda looked into watercooling, but these AIOs look good... but Im afraid that they will leak!

Ive always had an placebo effect when I bought tall coolers.

EDIT: AIO coolers here are damn expensive, I think I will get an air-cooler.

Never once had a leak, the pump will go out, fan or header but never had a leak myself. If you decide away from the H60 I posted then without a doubt:

ARCTIC AC Freezer 33 eSport is a winner

Now the other options are up to you but if you can afford it I would get dual fans. Choice of RED, Yellow or white accent. Personally the red looks awesome.

I've used 120, quite cools better than air. Not sure why a good product and concept needs your avocation but everyone has there own way of doing things. Obviously they can break more often, which brings me to this post.

For the love of tech gods, save the box and receipt FOREVER. Lol if the pump goes out anytime soon usually you can have it repaired from Corsair.
