Question What could be causing monitor to turn off and on seemingly randomly?

I just bought a new MSI monitor (G271CQP E2) and it has started to sometimes turn off and on, seemingly randomly. I have seen all kinds of possible causes. Does anyone have an idea about what is likely going on? My graphics card is AMD Radeon RX 560X. TIA!

I don't have many details about the old monitor. It was lower res and quality, and didn't have HDMI for instance.

PSU is Antec NeoECO C NeoECO 620C 620W ATX12V 80 PLUS BRONZE Certified Active PFC Power Supply. Is that maybe not good enough?

No, I can try with a laptop I guess. The problem is the turning on and off is intermittent. Seems to happen mostly after computer has been asleep for a while, and is fixed by unplugging and replugging power supply.
