Hey! My computer had been randomly black screening and restarting without any type of warning mid game. The weird part is that it only happens well im playing certain games and not every game. i cant seem to figure out what the problem could be. Ive tried going to an nvidia driver from aug when my pc was running fine and im still having the same problem. I then updated to windows 11 and updated to the latest drivers to try and see if something with windows and it hasnt worked. Ive tried getting it to restart well running heaven and cinebench but iots failed to do so. Any recommendations of what to try would be appreciated!
Specs:
Ryzen 7 3700x
32gig corsair ram
3060
Cx750 psu
Msi Mobo forgot what one it is tho

I’ve run into this when a power related issue is present. Can you try another psu? I worked for a pc manufacture for years and I would say that 9 out of 10 issues like this were fixed with a different psu.

i currently only have this psu on hand. The thing that makes me curious is how would my psu fail under certian games but not others. I never even considered that as a possibility ngl

It’s all about the load on the system. As it goes up, there is a higher draw from the psu. It could be something else. You can always get another psu and return it if your problem is still there. Amazon is great for that.

You might be right. i was looking at event viewer. Event id is 41 and the task category is 63. After looking through what feels like 100s of forums it would point towards the psu failing from what ive gathered.
