Hi, I want to buy a GPU that the PSU requirement is 300W and my psu is only 220W, I want to get the gt 1030, so my question is, is it really bad idea and I will have to replace the PSU or it can be fine, since the TDP of this card is 30W only? my specs are:
i3-550
220W PSU
4GB ram
Thanks in advanced! :)

If it's half decent it will have protections built in that will cause it to shut down in the case of overload, potentially permanently (ie the PSU is dead).

Worst case, see comment above.

That being said, 220W should be fine to power those specs in theory.

yes it is a acer veriton x680g but I did replace the case and the psu the problem I replace the psu to a bigger one but it has the same amount of wattage, 220W..
so can you please tell me if the MOBO compatible with this card or with other cards cuz I wont take risks Ill change the psu to a better one like 550W
