What could've happened wrong?

I upgraded today from a noctua nhd-u9s to nhd 15s, I run an i7700k at stock but my temps did not change at all. I have the be quiet silent base 800 case with my cpu fan blowing air to my back fan. I don't know If it's an airflow problem or if I screwed up the thermal paste or what else could it be?

Did the temps not change in Idle or also under load?
If temps didnt change in Idle it is kinda normal.
But if the temps do not change under load then your Cooler is not seated correct. Did you apply Thermalpaste between Cooler and CPU?

What "stock cooler" do you even mean? The little Intel cooler? The "k" Versions usually dont come with a stock cooler

I am sorry If I confused you, I meant with stock that I did not overclock my Cpu and that it's running at normal clock speed (or boost). My temps climbed down a little at idle but did not change at all under load. My previous cooler was the noctua nhd-9us.

They are both really big coolers. i guess that the cooler just isnt able to do more then the previous one.
Could come down to Intels bad TIM between IHS and DIE
