Go for High CPU. Because It determines the performance more.. GPU determines Graphics and Gaming Performance......

If you're intending to use your computer as a gaming platform, the GPU will make a huge difference hence justify cutting on the CPU budget to afford a GPU one notch up.

Then again, you can grab a 555 Phenom 2 and play the core unlock roulette, could end up with a quad core for $100

If you're more worried about having a computer that "feel" fast and don't care much about games, put that money toward a SSD instead.

Like the above said, if you're looking at gaming then go for the better graphics card and cut back a little on the CPU. If on the other hand you're not looking to game and just want a general use or productivity PC then go for the better CPU and possibly as SidVicious metioned a SSD :) Good luck!
