What cpu can I upgrade to in my CQ5210F?

The only things I change were the psu which is now a rhino 450 watt psu,4 gb ram, and gts 450. Im having major lag in really old titles like tf2 and bf3 on lowest settings, and I figured it was my cpu. Its motherboard is the M2N68-narra5.

Which AM2+ CPU will you get? A Phenom II X4 925? Don't forget that you are limited to 95W processors.

i was gonna get the 945, does it work he told me it would and it seems to be 95 watts except its am3 but i heard it works on am2+ boards

The known to work properly 925 also is AM3. The 945 may work, but you won't know if it's detected properly until you try it. Have you found a post that says it worked fine on a Narra5 motherboard?
