I was thinking of buying the Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo but apparently that's not good enough for the CPU.

Motherboard: MSI Z270-A Pro, Socket-1151

Processor: Intel Core i7-7700K Kaby Lake

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2666MHz 16GB

Case: Fractal Design Define S Black

Power supply: EVGA GQ 650W Hybrid Modular 80+ PSU

Graphics card: Geforce GTX 970

Can someone recommend a good CPU cooler that's not too hardcore and expensive?

On a similar budget to the evo the h7

If you can spend more then the h5 (which is pretty much the 140mm variant of the h7)

Buy on budget mate , they're both great , easier to for than the evo & better.
The h5 obviously carries a big price premium but is pretty much completely silent .
The h7 is more than enough if you're not overclocking massively.

I probably won't overclock at all but I want the temperature to be low enough so it won't damage any parts because my previous computer just suddently broke and I don't want that to happen again. I don't really have a max budget but I want it to be as cheap as possible but good enough for the CPU.

Oh sorry, I live in Sweden, where everything is so expensive... :/
