What cpu cooler should i get?

what cpu cooler should i get for an i5 3750k, im thinking the cooler master v6.

what do you think? i can spend about £40.

Dependson how mych room you have in your case; how close your ram is to the socket, and how big the heat spreader are on your ram.
The hyper 212+ does equally as well for quite a bit less $$ ... IF it fits.

Make sure your case supports it as popatim stated. At least 160mm supported for your case. My case, NZXT Tempest 210, stated it could handle 160mm heatsinks but after ordering the Corsair A70 and noticing that there was a few MM hanging over the side, let's just say I lost a couple bucks to return it to newegg.

V6 has good performance but look around on websites for their rating. Frostytech http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm has some good reviews, so I'd suggest there. Cheers.

i have a cm storm enforcer case and it has plenty of room for a big coller also i have low profile ram

212 EVO your average mid tower case, but if you have a big boy toy then the NH-D14 is the weapon of choice.

The Corsair Hydro Series H60.
Start going water if you can? Quieter than normal fans and much more efficient.
Unless you go top-end fan coolers like the Noctua DH14. But they are up near the £70 price range.
For £40, you couldnt beat the H60 with a fan cooler
