What cpu cooler should i get?

what cpu cooler should i get for an i5 3750k, im thinking the cooler master v6.

what do you think? i can spend about £40.

Make sure your case supports it as popatim stated. At least 160mm supported for your case. My case, NZXT Tempest 210, stated it could handle 160mm heatsinks but after ordering the Corsair A70 and noticing that there was a few MM hanging over the side, let's just say I lost a couple bucks to return it to newegg.

V6 has good performance but look around on websites for their rating. Frostytech http://www.frostytech.com/top5heatsinks.cfm has some good reviews, so I'd suggest there. Cheers.

The Corsair Hydro Series H60.
Start going water if you can? Quieter than normal fans and much more efficient. :)
Unless you go top-end fan coolers like the Noctua DH14. But they are up near the £70 price range.
For £40, you couldnt beat the H60 with a fan cooler :)

If you're gonna the money to get a NH-D14 you might as well get water-cooling.
