I have no idea what I am doing when it comes to CPU coolers.
I don't know what is best, or what will even fit in my case.
I want one because this new Player Unknown Game is running my CPU to death.

Here are my PC Components.
Mobo
GPU
Case
Power Supply
CPU

As for a budget i guess like around $50.

bonus thought, is it even worth putting money into this system???

The cryorig H7 has excellent cooling performance and is quiet as well. It is also short enough to fit in your case. Does your mobo allow overclocking? If not, getting a Z97 would give your pc a longer usable gaming life.

I am not sure if it does or not. Now that you mention it if its possible I would love to overclock, since i will have decent CPU cooler.

apparently some h97 boards will allow overclocking on unlocked cpus, depending on the bios. but its not a good idea since h97 boards were not meant for overclocking. either run the 4690k stock(you may not have a choice anyway on that board) or get a z97 board.

as for coolers under 50 bucks, the h7 is definitely the way to go. at 35 bucks or so it really cant be beat in that price range. I had an overclocked 6600k cooled by one and it did an excellent job.
