I want to get a cpu cooler for my AMD Ryzen 9 3900X 3.8 GHz 12-Core Processor
A the moment im using its stock cooler and wanted to replace it for cooler temps.
Anyone get any ideas for what cpu cooler i should get?
The ones im looking at these!

The two im looking at at the moment are these!
$300
Air cooler: Noctua NH-U12A
2 Fans replacement: Noctua NF-F12 PWM chromax.black.swap
I don't know getting new fans will mess the cabling and temp but will this keep my 3900x at a really good temp?
------------- or -------------
Water cooler: NZXT Kraken X73 73.11 CFM Liquid CPU Cooler
I'm worried about the water cooler since i dont know what cables it will need and also i dont know if it will fit on the top of my case and also don't know if it will make my ram slot unuseable!
------------- or -------------
Or if anyone has any recommended cpu coolers let me know!
also whats the best thermal paste?
i heard grizzly is good but i don't know whats the best to use.

Any 360 AIO cooler is superior to any air cooler. Don't have to worry about cables, they are included in AIO package. No need for exotic paste like Grizly, very adequate paste comes with coolers.
I would also suggest https://www2.arctic.ac/liquidfreezer2/liquid-freezer-360-en-2/ as a best buy right now.

I had trouble finding that 360 of that watercooler online but i could buy it from here im assuming this is a legit website its not in australia but its the only one i could find at the moment ill keep looking.
360 Arctic: https://www.arctic.ac/en/Liquid-Freezer-II-360/ACFRE00068A

The pricing though is quite expensive from that website to another smaller one on in amazon au if google pricing is corret for the 360 AIO cooler its $203.00 + $94.04 on that website but on amazon au the 280 its $167.69 + $26.92 Delivery.
280 amazon: https://www.amazon.com.au/ARCTIC-Liquid-Freezer-All-One/dp/B07WP6M7P7

So im guessing its quite a few bucks getting the 360 but if thats the only option i will go for it. Just i want the top covered full if its only 2 fans its gonna probably look weird

The 280 will look fine in there and it performs about the same as the 360.

I agree with the madmatt30 guru. A 280mm with good fans and a 360mm which is just one extra fan will perform similar maybe couple C difference. What is important in liquid cooling is the case temp and the room temp and that will equate to what the liquid temp will be regardless of fans blowing on it and what not.🐱‍🚀🤞🤦‍♀️

Just thought of something what about getting a 280 and getting like and extra fan to fill the gap between the top? also wil add abit more airflow to the build.

Also yous think this will be the good option to get?

You won't need an extra fan, the 280 damn near fills the top slots, bearing mind it's a only 60mm smaller than the 360 length wise, and around 30mm wider.

It will look absolutely fine.

Also ill be linking the stuff to the top of the case. What would be better to use intake or outtake. and also have the fans pull or push?

On top of the case it's best to be set as exhaust, push or pull doesn't matter.
Thankyou all for helping me i just purchase it hope everything goes well! Kinda worried about taking my cpu stock wraith cooler taking that off but got alot of people tell me how to do it soo hoping everything goes well! Thank you all for the help!

The thread about my cpu cooler.

Go push as an exhaust (fans on the bottom of the rad) with the h500m. Because the venting is on the sides in your case it will work slightly better this way than with pull (fans on top)

The liquid freezer is very tidy to fit, the fan splitter is built in and the fan cable runs down inside the tubing so it looks very very tidy once done.
