I am upgrading my computer and need help !
Will the athlon t/bird 1200 c (with the 266fsb) go in my mothboard ? Or do i need to get the 200 fsb version ?
My motherboard

Asus A7V (not the A7V133)

I see in the bios that the FSB will go up to 133
Am I missing something?
Hope someone out there can help PLEASE PLEASE !!
Thanks in advance

Yes I did see that setting in the Bios

But can your memory run at 133 and the processor at 100(200 fsb)
I thought they had to be the same ?

Hope someone can help me out ?

THANKS

it'll work just fine.
only the DDRAM Athlon motherboards require you to keep the same fsb and memory speed.

I have a front and a rear case fan
And the heatsink is a Pentalpha APSK-0155 (recomended on the AMD site for upto 1200mhz)

The biggest heatsink I could find at the moment.

Hoping this will keep it cool for time being

I am using it at the moment on my T/bird 700
