so I have the option between amds new ryzen 9 or intel i9900k. the problem is that the independent testing that is out right now seems mixed, I need a CPU for gaming and streaming. not some much workstation which I know amd is known for. also would an nzxt Kraken x52, or 62 be good enough if I were to overclock either of them. one last thing, is there any news about new intel CPUs? it seems to be hard to find information on that

I honestly think that either one would be just as fine (the ryzen one might even be a bit better) In my opinion I'd go with the intel processor and the NZXT kraken should be plenty to keep the cpu at a good temp
The reason it's hard to find news on Intel CPUs is because they simply haven't been doing a lot in the industry. However, both of these CPU's are going to do basically anything you throw at them. In fact, they might be a little overkill for simply gaming and streaming. Getting a cheaper Ryzen 7 or maybe even 5 could save you a lot of money for some performance decrease. I suggest doing some more research on these to save you $$. Also both coolers would be great for overclocking!

thanks, ill look into that but id sure wish for intel to do something because big red is catching up big time, and I know its overkill I'm going for an enthusiast build.
