Sadly, I already bought everything but the CPU not realizing I should have gone with a different motherboard, and I can't afford a different one right now. What would be the best CPU for this specific build? (Purpose: Gaming)

Can't you send the motherboard back? You haven't even used it yet.

The Athlon x4 880k is the best cpu you could possibly get. It is equivalent to a Pentium g3258 or g4400. You are right that it is a terrible choice for your budget.

Going to see if I can return it, I'll reply with the results. In the time being, what would be a good replacement for a motherboard and what CPU would be best with said motherboard
